31 weeks update

Yay I made it to 31 weeks yesterday!

4 sessions of prenatal course ended last night and we will take a babycare class next week!

Last night, we learned all about breastfeeding.
If I can, I would like to breastfeed my twins, so I was glad to learn important information on breastfeeding that I didn’t know!!

Here is a picture of moms in my class!
(dads are taking pics)

I’m the one with the pink dot πŸ˜‰
We lined up in the order of the soonest due date to the latest due date (L→R).

My bump is a lot bigger compared to people who have close due dates haha. I am the only mom in this class that is carrying twins!

And here is my weekly baby bump pic!

Since I had an emergency fFN test and cervical exam last Thursday,
I have been taking it easy because my doctor said the weight of my babies can put pressure on my cervix…

I am thankful for my husband for doing a lot of housework!
Even for his own birthday get together with friends at our house last weekend, he cleaned the house and prepared all by himself and cleaned up after guests left so I was able to sit back… haha
He has been making breakfast for us everyday too, which is so nice so I can sleep in πŸ™‚

My sleep hasn’t been very good. I am tired and my eyelids are heavy but my belly gets tight or legs cramp up and it prevents me from falling asleep…, not to mention 5-6 times I have to get up to go to bathroom and drink a glass of water.

My lungs and heart feel under a great deal of pressure as well. 😵

Since yesterday, I started to feel this dull pain all over my groin, lower abdomen, top of thighs and lower back….
It feels like menstrual cramps or diarrhea pain.

I have heard that early stage of labour sometimes feels like that, so I started tracking my contractions. They are still 15-20 minute apart and not “painful”…
and in the morning, contractions are more spread out.

And according to the result of fFN test I got done last week, it is less likely that I go into labour within a few weeks, so I am sure these are braxton hicks.

Well, I have an OB appointment with ultrasound and Non Stress Test this week so I will find out πŸ™‚

How is everyone??

Christmas is coming soon!!🎄 I have Christmas songs playing in the house all day 🎅😍

Love your bump shot (your dress is so cute!) I’m running out of maternity clothes that don’t make me look/feel like a whale… I’m having a lot of the same symptoms as you- with the menstrual like cramps and back pains, but as long as the cervix isn’t dilating my doctor doesn’t seem too concerned. Hope you find out more at your NST appointment.

ok I am glad to know you are having similar symptoms. it is scary when you don’t know what symptoms are supposed to be normal when it is your first pregnancy, isn’t it… so thank you for your experience too! πŸ™‚ Hope your pregnancy is going well πŸ™‚
