Right now, my twin boys eat solids only at breakfast. (usually at around 8am)

I cook, puree, and freeze their food in cubes once a week.
That way, prepping their breakfast in busy mornings is super easy πŸ™‚

The food my boys have tried are:

  • rice
  • carrot
  • cabbage
  • sweet potato
  • squash
  • onion
  • broccoli
  • spinach
  • tomato
  • bread
  • udon noodles
  • yogurt
  • banana
  • apple
  • avocado

Except for avocado, yogurt and banana, I boil everything first. As for rice, I cook it in my rice cooker (1:10 = rice : water in ‘porridge mode’ setting) and blend it till the texture is smooth.
I freeze them in ice cubes so I usually mix a few different foods in a bowl for them.

Their favorite is rice and squash so far πŸ˜„

in a few week or so, I would like to introduce protein… maybe fish or tofu first.
and also maybe I will add one more meal a day.

There are so many articles and so much new information on solids out there and it gets so confusing as to what advice I should follow…
But hopefully the decision that I make will work with them πŸ‘πŸ˜†
